About the Initiative
The South Carolina–Bahamas Partnership supports the implementation of the South Carolina–Bahamas Trade Commission, as established by Act No. 249. The initiative is designed to strengthen long-term relationships between South Carolina and The Bahamas through government collaboration, business development, education, tourism, workforce initiatives, technology, agriculture, and public-private partnerships.

The South Carolina–Bahamas Partnership is a long-term initiative focused on strengthening relationships between South Carolina and The Bahamas through collaboration among government, business, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders. The effort supports the implementation of the South Carolina–Bahamas Trade Commission while identifying opportunities to expand trade, tourism, workforce development, education, innovation, agriculture, maritime cooperation, and cultural exchange.
South Carolina – Bahamas Trade Commission
The South Carolina–Bahamas Trade Commission was established through Act No. 249 to strengthen bilateral relationships between South Carolina and The Bahamas.
The Commission serves as a framework for expanding trade, tourism, investment, education, workforce development, cultural exchange, and public-private partnerships while encouraging long-term collaboration among governmental, institutional, and private-sector partners.
